That Winter-Wind is My Only Friend

That Winter is my only friend

That freezing morning
When I broke in tears
When I needed a shoulder to lean on
No-one stood by me
No-one was concerned.

Yet one thing I know
That freezing morning
When to feeble where my limbs to wipe those tears off my face
The strong-cold winter-wind blew by me
It blew all my tears away.

I don’t know who, for me, has ever cared
I don’t care who will ever do
But that wind,
Whether strong or be it winter cold
Stood by me when I sought a friend

I am packing my belongings
I am leaving
You need not know where I go, nor swear a visit
I am tired of being deceived – I know I don’t have any other friend
Except that cold winter-wind that blows!

Anyway,
Why hope I that you can feel like visiting
For my life is still tears tears,
I know you all will love me someday,
Someday when my life is all parties and happiness.

Till then so let it be!

But the day that I die
Bury me not among you
Burn me to dust and ashes
Let the strong wind blow me away
He is my only friend

Winter-Wind knows the place of my grave.

Foreign Dream

-->
I have a dream today!

When the man across the river woke up with a dream
He built his homestead as to what he had dreamt.
And when we saw how majestic was the homestead he built,
We sought endless ways to build the same way.
But sadly we never realized,
That we too had a dream.
In trying to imitate the splendor of his homestead,
Slowly we were forgetting the dream we had dreamt.
In praising him as a dreamer,
We were despising our own dream instead.
Focusing on those who had tried and built,
We left our own dream untried.

You driving too fast

She was driving too fast, faster than he was ready. And he began to be afraid, he did not want to break her heart.

So let’s slow down girl
Let’s slow down
Maybe we aren’t going far
Just out of town.
In time we’ll have to stop
In time one has to step out
Let’s just drive slow
It hurts to stop soon.

I don’t blame you
No, not at all
Maybe it’s because you’re a city girl
Used to driving in the free lane
But I’m just a country boy
I know no free lane
And I know in life safety comes first,
I know if they be matters of the heart
Definitely speed comes last.

Block Buster Thriller

Little boy held at gun point. If you where the little boy...

My life is an action packed movie
I keep running into landmine explosions;
Deadly traumas, violent earthquakes;
Bullets and missiles are flying;
Bloodthirsty haters are throwing blows.
But O my dear one, do not cry,
I am the main actor and the main actor does not die
Let me stick to my guns,
Sit back tonight you’re watching a blockbuster thriller!
